tonal quality over Variety 1, with clear musical scale in
from middle to high C. AFter trying these out, I found the
main difference between the kids and family bell varieties
is a case of richer tonal timber and the length of the note
as it is sounding.Bells are brightly painted with the name
of note and bell number on each handle. Includes one set

Cracker
Variety 4: This set has high tonal quality and
can be played both as handbells (by ringing in the air)
or as deskbells (by leaving the bells on the table and pressing
the top of the handle for a ringing sound). The advantages
of this set are that they allow a much fuller range of music
to be played, the bells can be played (as desk bells) even
for folks with arthritis and there are enough bells so that
in medium groups of 10 or so, everyone can play two bells.
This adds to the confusion and merriment! And folks who
are playing with bell notes which aren't used often in a
particular song, can still join in with their second bell.
Much more 2-part harmony music is possible with the 20 note
set.

offers permission to copy the following music for individual
handbell players ONLY. Please do not redistribute or use the
music in way other than for personal family use with your
handbell set.
The music below (except for the music offered at the 'Insipired
Instructor's' Website) is not colour-coded. Try marking the
notes with coloured hi-lighter pens, matching each colour
to those on the handbells. The PDF files below offer 'chord'
and 'tremelo chords' to add melody to each piece of music.
These notes are printed at the TOP of each line of music.
A 'chord' is a single bell ring; a 'tremelo chord' is produced
from shaking the bell to produce a prolonged note-sound until
the next chord begins.
